Flights to South America

 
  • Before buying your flight, make sure your passport is still valid for 6 months after departure. 
  • Compare international flight prices from day to day, weekend flights may be cheaper at times.
  • Make sure if your airport taxes have been included or not.
  • Most tickets issued these days are E- tickets, meaning that you will just have to provide you passport at the check in desk to obtain your boarding pass.
 
Coming from Europe or the US there are several large hubs that operate direct flights to Lima and other large airports within South America. The main hubs from Europe are Madrid, London and Paris. In the US the main hubs are Miami, Los Angeles and Atlanta. The main airports in South America receiving international flights from the US or Europe are Bogota, Caracas, Lima, Quito, Guayaquil, Santiago, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. For many people coming from Oceania or Asia, Santiago de Chile will be there first stop on the South American mainland. For flights to Peru you should not have too much problems finding a flight as Lima is one of the bigger hubs in South America.
